Small Tools

Setting Up Small Tools
Small Tools is a common billed item in Time and Materials - Calculated as a Associated Labor Fee 
  1. Be sure to understand how is the used and billed (see image below)

The most commonly used Small Tools is the "Percentage Per Input (Labor Total)" For Supervisors to Laborers Only

  1. The set up for Small Tools can be found in the Project Settings
  2. Flat Daily Rate - Calculated as a Flat Daily Rate Per Person - not related to billed labor total
  3. Percentage Per Input (Labor Total) - This is calculated based on Billed Labor Total - Example: Labor works 8 hours at $10.00 per hour = $80.00 x 3% = $24.00 in Small Tools Charge
  4. Common Small Tools Rates - Flat Daily Rate is $5.00 to $7.00 | Percentage is 3.00%


Small Tools is an Associated Labor Fee - You would choose to bill this in the labor input dialog - see image below
  1. To Bill Small Tools - Set up as illustrated below. Then make sure you check the Small Tools box on the Labor Input Dialog
