Question:
How often should user input into T&M Go?
Best Answer #1:
T&M Go is designed to be done daily or one date at a time. User will input data daily and save the T&M Go file daily. Example: User inputs for date 08/01/2018 for Client ABC. The file name should be ClientABC-08012018 and do this for each day. T&M Go files should be saved daily so you have a solid back up of the daily file just in case you need to go back and Add or Modify an item(s).
Question:
Should I distribute the Price File and Project Settings file to our Users?
Best Answer #2:
If you do not want to distribute your Price File and Project Settings File then we recommend you do the following
Open T&M Go
Upload the following files
Then Save and Name the T&M Go File - Example - If you uploaded your National Price File and Project Settings File it is recommended you Save the T&M GO file as National-T&M-Go or lets say you have a specific price and project settings file for a specific client - then do the same process but name the T&M Go file as ClientABC-Master
Now distribute the T&M Go file to your users then have them open that file in T&M Go then Immediately name that file specific to the project they are working on.
OR
Best Answer #3
You can simply distribute the Price and Project Settings File to each user
Question:
How should user do their daily files
Best Answer:
The user should create a new T&M Go daily for their input. Example - They are working on ClientABC - The should save each day with the date that represents the input date - they input for Client ABC on June 06, 2018, then we recommend that they save the T&M Go file as ClientABC-06062018
Question:
If user changes an input to an item that is not in the price list or project settings will this cause an issue during the import into T&M Pro?
Best Answer #4:
The user should always communicate any changes that they make during their input. These changes should be added to the Price Data and Project Settings in T&M Pro. If they do not communicate and/or you do not make the changes in T&M Pro then your import into T&M Pro may fail or it may import but will not allow you to make a modification and throw an immediate error when you attempt. Remember you must add the changes to match exactly the way it was added by the T&M Go user.
