✅ How to Export/Import Core Project Data Files from/to T&M Pro

T&M Pro allows you to export all of your Core Project Data Files that are archived in the dropdown lists under the Create New Bill tab. This feature is especially useful if you’re switching to a new computer or want to create a backup of your billing setup files. It's also useful if you need to revisit an older version of a price data file.

Once exported, these files can be imported into another T&M Pro installation so they appear in the same dropdown menus on the new system.

🧭 Step-by-Step: Export Your Archived Files

1. Create a Folder to Store the Files

Before exporting, create a new folder on your desktop and name it:
tmplusfiles

This is where the program will store your exported data.

2. Use the Export Function in T&M Pro

• Click Create New Bill in the left menu
  

• Click the Export Data Files tab
  

• Click the Export Current Data Files button

3. Choose the tmplusfiles Folder

• Locate and open the tmplusfiles folder you created.

• The program will automatically export three subfolders into it:

  • Price Data

  • Project Settings

  • Admin

Each folder will contain the individual files you've used in T&M Pro for that category.

How to Import

1. On the new computer, copy the entire tmplusfiles folder to the desktop (or any accessible location).

2. In T&M Pro, open the Create New Bill menu, select the Export Data Files tab, and click the Import Data Files button.

3. Browse to the tmplusfiles folder and select it.

4. The program will load the files into your dropdown menus, restoring your previously archived setup.
