CREATE NEW ESTIMATE DIALOG
To Open - Click on the Menu "Create New Estimate" (see image
below)
HOW TO CREATE A NEW ESTIMATE
SELECT PROGRAM FILES IN EACH DROP DOWN FOR THIS ESTIMATE (see image below)
To Create a New Estimate - User MUST choose (3) Files from each
of the Drop Downs as shown in image below.
- Price Data - (*.bdata) - This is the Price Data File you will use for this Estimate
- Project Settings File - (*.xml) - This is the Project Settings File you will
use for this Estimate
- Admin File - (*.xml) - This is the Admin Settings File you will use for this Estimate
If Data Files Are Not Available in the Create New Estimate Dialog
User will need to upload Data Files into the Create New Estimate Dialog - (see image below)
- Click on the Tab - Upload Data Files - See image below
- Click on BROWSE for Price Data File - Locate your Price Data File and Double Click on file name - This will bring you back to this dialog
- Click on BROWSE for Project Settings File - Locate your Project Settings File and Double Click on file name - This will bring you back to this dialog
- Click on BROWSE for Admin File - Locate your Admin File and Double Click on file name - This will bring you back to this dialog
- Once you the files loaded in the Text box - Click UPLOAD FILE for each file
- Now Go Back to the Create New Estimate Dialog and Your Data Files should be in each drop down.
Once Data files are selected in each of the drop downs - Now Time to
Create and Save the Estimate File
To Create the Actual Estimate File
Click on the Button - "CLICK TO CREATE AND SAVE ESTIMATE FILE TO A PROJECT
FOLDER"
This will open your file explorer - Locate your Project Folder or Create a
New Folder for the Project if you do not have one.
Once folder is created open
the folder and on the bottom of the dialog give this file a name and then click
SAVE
- You will then be redirected back to the Program and Ready for Input
You will see the Bill File Name in the Top Bar of the Program Interface
You are now ready to begin your data input
