How to Setup to Input Multiple Items at One Time

Set Up Full List Input for Equipment and Materials 
This will allow you to Input Multiple Items in ONE input
  1. Your Price List Must Be Set Up Correctly For This Function - The Setup Is The Same For Materials and Equipment
See Instructions Below 

Click on The Following

  1. Project Data Files Menu 

  2. Then Click on Price Data File


  1. This will open the Price Data Dialog
  2. The first step is to Import the price data file so you can Export it to an Excel® spreadsheet

  1. Click on "IMPORT PRICE DATA FILE INTO PROGRAM" (You will be importing your .bdata price file)
  2. This will open the IMPORT PRICE DATA FILE dialog (see below)

  1. Click on Browse - This will allow you to go retrieve the price data file that you want to add the new feature to. 
  2. Once you select the bdata file you will be directed back to this dialog - CLICK ENTER then you will need to Export to Excel

Export Price Data File - Follow the Instructions Below

  1. Click on "EXPORT THE CURRENT PRICE DATA FILE"

  2. Choose Excel File in the drop down (see image below)

  3. Click "BROWSE" - you will be asked to name and save this Excel File

  4. You will be directed back to this dialog - Click ENTER to Export the File as an Excel File


Once this is complete go and Open the Excel File and Follow instructions below

  1. Once you have this completed for Materials and Equipment save the excel file. 
  2. You are now ready to Import this back into the program and convert back to a bdata file.
  3. Make sure nothing is loaded into the program then you are ready to import.
