Project Settings - Vehicles and Mileage
Vehicles and Mileage can be billed from the Labor Input Dialog - You must
first setup the Vehicles and Mileage (see below)
Below is found in the Project Settings Dialog
To Add Vehicles and Mileage
Open Vehicles & Mileage Table (see image above) - Then Click "ADD" to
Open Vehicle | Mileage Set up Dialog (see image below)
To Add / Enter Vehicles and Mileage - use the Input Dialog
- Enter Vehicle Name
- Enter Billable Daily Rate - this is the amount billed per day
- Enter Mileage Rate - this is the amount billed per mile
- If Tracking Cost - Enter the Daily Cost Rate (this is your cost for Vehicle use) and Enter Mileage Cost (this is your cost per mile)
To Modify an Existing Vehicle and / or Mileage
Entry
- Click on the Vehicle you want to Modify - the line will highlight
- Click on the MODIFY button to open input dialog
- Make your modification and the Click ENTER to complete the change
- Repeat if you have more or click CLOSE to close the Vehicle Table
To Remove an Existing Vehicle
- To Remove an Existing Vehicle - Click on the Vehicle you want to Remove to Highlight it
- Click on the REMOVE button then click yes on the Message Dialog that appears
To Import Vehicles List
- User can IMPORT a Vehicle list from an Excel® spreadsheet. This can be updated daily and imported without importing duplicates.
- The spreadsheet must meet the format requirements to work properly with the Import Function.
- To create a spreadsheet template, see the below section on Exporting Vehicles
Export Vehicles
- User can EXPORT a Vehicle list to an Excel® spreadsheet. This can be updated daily and Imported without importing duplicates.
- The Spreadsheet must meet the format requirements to work properly with the Import Function.
- To create a spreadsheet template, simply Click on the EXPORT button when there are no Vehicles Added and this will create a Blank Template with the Proper headers
