Project Settings - Vehicles and Mileage
Vehicles and Mileage are associated labor fees, which are billed for during Labor Input. (see example dialog below)
The Vehicles and Mileage Setup Dialog is found on the Project Settings File Interface
Follow the examples below to set up.
To Add Vehicles and Mileage:
From the Vehicles & Mileage Table, click "ADD" to open the Vehicle | Mileage Bill/Cost Set Up dialog.
To Enter Vehicles and Mileage data:
Use the dialog box to enter vehicle and mileage details, as shown below.
To Modify an Existing Vehicle / Mileage Entry:
- Click to highlight the Vehicle you want to Modify (see image below)
- Click on the MODIFY button to open the Input Dialog
- Make your modifications, then click ENTER to record the change
- Repeat this process for additional vehicles if needed
- Click CLOSE on each dialog to exit the Vehicle Table
To Remove an Existing Vehicle:
- Click to highlight the Vehicle you want to Remove
- Click on the REMOVE button, then click Yes to confirm when prompted
To Import | Update a Vehicles List:
- You can IMPORT a prepared Vehicle List from an Excel® spreadsheet. This spreadsheet can be updated & imported daily without importing duplicates.
- The spreadsheet must meet the format requirements to work properly with the Import Function.
- To create a blank spreadsheet template, see Export Vehicles below.
To Export a Vehicles List | Create a Blank Vehicles Template:
- You can EXPORT a Vehicle List to an Excel® spreadsheet. This spreadsheet can be updated daily without importing duplicates.
- The spreadsheet must meet the format requirements to work properly with the Import Function.
- To create a blank spreadsheet template, click on the EXPORT button to export a Blank Template with the properly formatted headers. See example below.
Excel® Export Examples:
Below is an example of an exported Vehicle List to Excel®. You can ADD / MODIFY / REMOVE data, then import it back into the program as shown in the examples above.

Blank Vehicle List Template:
Below is an example of a Blank Vehicle List created with the Export function. You now have a pre-formatted template that can be imported with or without data.
Note line 2 is always to be left blank.
Be sure to save a copy of this template to your machine for future bill files.
